WE REACHED OUR GOAL OF $500. CONGRATULATIONS EVERYONE!
NOW BACK TO THE AUTUMN PROJECT.
HELP A FATHERLESS CHILD FOR FATHER'S DAY
How many of you:
- don't know what to get your Dad for Father's Day?
- have a Dad who has everything?
- no longer have your Dad around (like me)?
- would like to honour your Dad, Husband, Grandad, Son or anyone else AND help a fatherless child?
If so, how about sponsoring a hen in your Dad's name for Messef Orphanage in Haiti? Just $10 (or whatever you would like to give) will provide a chick, help towards the cost of building a hen coop and provide fresh eggs for the children at Messef.
In return, we will name a hen in your Dad's honour (as long as you don't ask me to pick her out afterwards) and send a special Father's Day card with details of the gift for you to forward by email or print out.
If you would like to take part, please scroll up to Father's Day Appeal, select the amount to donate, click on "Donate with PayPal" and on the form select "Add Special Instructions to Seller" and add the names of your people there.
Thanks, Glenda Weaver, for hatching this idea.
Chickens donated so far in honour or memory of:
John and Marlene (the original "couple"), Furbs, Matthew, Tom, Mal, Ike, Poush, the Sumner Boys (2), Ken, Rick, Ray, Greg, Muir and Sachel.
"On a Promise" for:
Victor, Rokeby Stables' Husband, Papa Jim, Leon and Anthony.
Keep them coming!
Donors: Lis; Posie & Stu; Linda & Fray; Trudy; Wendy; Lisa; Sandra (and everyone she collected from); Tammy; Jamie; Ricki; Nathaniel; Solange
THANK YOU ALL!
We will write a special feature on the Father's Day Appeal, the chickens and the fine men (and women) they are named after when the Autumn Project is completed. Please send me anything you would like me to say about the people you have dedicated the chickens to in advance.
